  1. Played at the Torch and early Mecca days around 1972 both from a single and album. Seem to remember Ian Levine playing from an Israeli or Indian single.
  2. Perhaps not a soul group in the traditional sense but I loved their work, as always very sad. Sometimes you just wish you could press a pause button on life.
  3. You know an awful lot of those on Charger in the UK are boots and the owners probably are not aware of that. It's rarer than you think, probably rarer even than on Thunderbird. The current price is around £40.00 for a good original copy. BTW I this is an old thread but I was doing some research.
  4. Just 2 hours to go for 115 top Northern and Rare records...................
  5. I was a big attendee at Pantles from 1973 onward, you must know Pat Munroe then, he practically lived there.
  6. He used to DJ at Pantiles, Bagshot just about the most famous/best club in the area. I always thought he lived in Camberley.
  7. I went to stay with him one weekend, he'd returned from a local Blackpool junk shop with a UK Hickory Queen of fools. Cost 1 shilling
  8. 3 days to go and here are some more................... This is a rare Canadian issue of Bobby Hebb.
  9. I've never seen a copy of this only the Seventy Sevens have passed through my hands. Just how rare is it ? They don't seem to come up for sale often. Would you get more than £250.00 for a decent copy ? I have to assume this is the local issue ?
  10. Actually Ian didn't get an big bucks from his mum & dad, when I first knew him he was buying in junk shops for a shilling a go. Here's an even earlier British soul magazine, similar but 2 years before.
  11. Worth fifty quid - absolute tops ? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/121847974451?ru=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fsch%2Fi.html%3F_sacat%3D0%26_udlo%3D%26_udhi%3D%26_ftrt%3D901%26_ftrv%3D1%26_sabdlo%3D%26_sabdhi%3D%26_samilow%3D%26_samihi%3D%26_sadis%3D15%26_stpos%3D%26_sop%3D1%26_dmd%3D1%26_ipg%3D50%26_nkw%3D121847974451%26_rdc%3D1
  12. I've sold a couple, ranging from about £80 to £135.00 - it's mad I tell you............
  13. Hang him...............
  14. If Ian was late in feeding his dogs I'm sure it would end up on here...............
  15. When and where is/was that ?
  16. Four days to go with these there too.................
  17. Here's some more that's on there.........................
  18. I've seen them sell for almost £100 on Ebay, depending on what condition and how it's been presented with a nice label scan.
  19. It's a bit like the question "how long is a piece of rope" in today's market somewhere between £50 - 150.00 I would guess.
