We sold a Willie Tee a few weeks ago at £750.00.
  2. It must an original, it got legitimately re-issued so many times and was never a hard record to get, booters wouldn't have made any money. I just checked my 2 copies of pink JJ Barnes Revilots, they're vinyl with scratched matrix.
  3. I've never seen a vinyl copy but there are pink Revilots that were, thinking of the Parliaments and JJ Barnes - Our love. If you bought it in the US then it's 99.9% an original, those 70s Rose Batistes were made for the UK market and didn't genrally end up on the US market.
  4. A publicity poster from the 1966 UK tour. Danny Austin on the far right.
  5. These mental prices for re-issues and boots must come from people who have just discovered or re-discovered NS and the only place they know where to find them is on Ebay. Patience and careful searching will get you what you want a decent price but please kids leave your emotions at home
  6. What is going on ?
  7. Fudge me !! https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/111599187433?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT I used to have about 3 of these I couldn't sell them for £15.00 I even gave one away in Spain
  8. Danny Austin a singer with both the Ad Libs and Spellbinders passed away Saturday evening in New Jersey. Danny toured the UK with the Spellbinders in 1966 & 1967. A smashing bloke and a great singer. RIP
  9. Mexico Brazil Portugal Lebanon West Indies France
  10. Original styrene, look for the small "h" on the run-out.
  11. That's true Pete, I tend to transfer everything over to my bank. The majority of my purchases are in the US, they seem to take Paypal charges in their stride.
  12. Here, here !! It's just a way to skim off a few shekels - thing is if you ask if seller wants to be paid via Friends/Family he'll pretty much always say "yes". I prefer a bank transfer, no fees there.
  13. A couple of Dutch issues (never seem to find many demos)
  14. I have all three of their singles on Tower, all are vinyl, demos & issues.
  15. They're all about € 3 - 5 each, not much more. Here's thread on the Contours :
  16. Any chance scan label ?
  17. Sang some great songs in her time, another one gone
  18. I wrote an article about the group in Kev Roberts Togetherness magazine, I'll try and find it.
  19. This was the very first record I heard when I knew it was a Northern Soul one, the Catacombs, March 1972
  20. Iss The issue is the rarer of the two records. Demos go for anywhere between £100 - 120 and issues £150 - 200.00. A record well worth having.
  21. Thanks always fancied myself as an "elite"
