Pay Pal Friends
That's true Pete, I tend to transfer everything over to my bank. The majority of my purchases are in the US, they seem to take Paypal charges in their stride.

Pay Pal Friends
Here, here !! It's just a way to skim off a few shekels - thing is if you ask if seller wants to be paid via Friends/Family he'll pretty much always say "yes". I prefer a bank transfer, no fees there.

Four Larks - I Still Love You/groovin´at The Go Go - Tower
This was the very first record I heard when I knew it was a Northern Soul one, the Catacombs, March 1972
-
Four Larks - I Still Love You/groovin´at The Go Go - Tower
Iss The issue is the rarer of the two records. Demos go for anywhere between £100 - 120 and issues £150 - 200.00. A record well worth having.

How Big Was The Northern Soul Scene In The 70S ?
Thanks always fancied myself as an "elite"

How Big Was The Northern Soul Scene In The 70S ?
Depends on when in the 70s, from 1970 to 1973 not very big, I can only think of about 10 venues and not all of them weren't open every week and not all nighters. I guess it became bigger from about 1974 onwards once Wigan had established itself.

Comedy Sale Of The Day
I suspect that these high prices are due to "Bobby Weekend" DJs who can afford £100 but not £1500 for a record. Surely most people attending these venues will know that the DJs don't own these rarities ?
-
Contours - Baby Hit & Run - A Re-Re-Lease ?
OK got it, ah well

Contours - Baby Hit & Run - A Re-Re-Lease ?

Chubby Checker - You Just Don't Know
Thanks, have 2 copies on London looking for C-P or P.

Contours - Baby Hit & Run - A Re-Re-Lease ?
If it was in Aptil B & S then the article would have been written well before that date. I couldn't find any dates on the MFP album, maybe it was released before '74 ?
-
Contours - Baby Hit & Run - A Re-Re-Lease ?
Guess we'll never really know, some 40+ years ago
