  5. Without wandering too far from the subject BIEM is an agreement between the US & Europe and yes you do tend to find it on "continental" releases. Just checked a couple of UK labels I had lying around, none seem to have it, makes you wonder if it wasn't a UK pressing meant for another European country ?
  6. I see it has the BIEM authors rights logo on the label, had a quick look at some of my LAR records and don't see that on them. You do see it on European records though. BIEM = Bureau International des Sociétés Gérant les Droits d'Enregistrement et de Reproduction Mécanique
  7. Just one day to go now...............
  8. I'm selling well on Ebay, pretty much every record has a bid and some have already gone over "in my mind minimum" - looking at prices for knownies I would say the opposite, prices are way up. https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/Records-/176985/m.html?item=261499783126&ssPageName=STRK%3AMESELX%3AIT&_ssn=watchguyone&rt=nc

  12. For Sale : 16 different polo shirts, some with soul venue motifs, some airline T shirts, these are original purchased in the USA dating from the 1980/90s. Sizes range from XXL to L, they're actually all pretty much the same size, I'd put them at XL-ish. I'm 6ft 3" and weigh(ed) more than 15 stone. Some are almost new some have been worn but could be used for all sorts of occasions, ranging to going to soul venues and/or working in the garden. I will ship anywhere, I can accept cheques, postal or money orders, cash or Paypal. Price : £12:00 for the lot (plus shipping costs £6.00 with Hermes)

  18. They see it as an extra source of revenue. I always try and talk seller out of using it, they are obliged to declare the value sold. That would mean import duty & VAT making the purchase even dearer.

You're finding out the hard way. Sellers "guesstimate" shipping costs, always ask them before shipping that question, a rebate should cost be less than asked. Send the guy a stiff mail and if he/she still won't refund, give him a neutral with an explanation in the feedback panel. Of course it's only my opinion/advice. Good luck.
