  4. i'm on my fourth copy of big frank, all four have been on philips, pressed on styrene , apart from the one i have now all the others were over labeled with the philips label
  5. oh yes without a doubt, i also bought his copy of the royal robins at the same time for £40, still covered up as the imaginary visions, a lot of money in those days
  6. on most of the philips isues the label has heen stuck on over the blue rock label guy & keb both played this at the same time covered up as big joes ivory brass, guys was on blue rock & kebs was on philips, i bought kebs copy off him for the princely sum of 75 quid

  13. one of my favourite records of all time (both sides) i had 2 copies of this in the 80's, alas, both long gone now, however, i did manage to pick up a monarch test pressing a few years ago, its a test press for the boot which will have to do until i pick up another real one, i'm not holding my breath though

  20. hi cliff, i still love you came out on yellow label, probally pressed at the time when the label design was changing over to multi coloured, hence the 2 different labels, however the yellow label is considerably rarer

    now theres a can of worms ready to be opened, someone may own the master tapes, but if they dont own the rights to the content of the tapes then they cant legally sell cuts from them

  25. just a quick glance on popsike showed half a dozen sam fletcher issues this year, dearest was 550 dollars, hardly a rare record by any stretch of the imagination & certainly not worth 650 quid, dream on
