I've stumbled on the other chord labels too while searching for the tune. (doesn't make the search any easier too, as you may imagine) I wouldn't be surprised if the tune I'm after was the only release on 'my' chord label. Currently browsing every ebay title featuring 'soul' in popsike, but alas, no luck yet...

Don't think it was that one, think it was a group name, early 70s sound (maybe very late 60s). Thanks for helping me find the mystery tune though

I've been meaning to ask this for a long time, but could seem like a silly question cause I know so little about the record in question. I remember bidding on a certain record about 3/4 years ago that was on the Chord label. I think there was no label number, so I guess it was the only release on the label. The label color was light blue, but don't remember the artist name or the song. I know it was a beautiful tune though, and I'm doing my best to retrace it, but with so little clues it's pretty hard to track down the artist name or name of the tunes. Could anyone give me a clue on this one? I remember it going for good money, so chances are some of you might have bid on it too...

Allright guys n girls. Haven't had much time to visit the forum in the last couple of weeks, let alone do a sales list. This record is not easy to find by any means and one ogf Johnny's very best tunes. Condition is excellent or better, with just a few tiny paper marks. Allright, here's the deal... I bought a copy of the Marvelows 'Your little sister' online, but when it arrived I wasn't too happy because it's pretty clear for me that it's a bootleg copy. After complaining to the seller he said that it was a legit copy and that he bought it from a respected collector etc. so I thought I'd put up a scan on here to end the debate for once and for all and as a reference for the seller. Don't have the bootleg guide here in front of me, so don't know it's in there too... but will ask the question anyway. Is this a boot?

Think I gotta back Paul on this one... the young man`s clearly in trouble (because of a third person that`s making life very difficult for him) and solving these troubles or giving him a bit of support is clearly priority atm. And I think the problems with records not receieved etc can still be dealt with after his main problems are solved. That being said, I do understand why ss member Ernie Andrews is pissed off for not receiving his records. £600 is a hefty sum and shouldn`t be minimised and he was right to start a thread about his concerns. I think he`ll get his money back in the not so distant future, so that`s a positive outcome.

Allright, since I`m one of the few Belgians on this forum I`ll make it my task to check out his store when I`m visiting Antwerp. I`ve never heard of his shop though, which is a pretty good indicator of how well his skeem to promote his shop really works. To be continued...
