  1. Well I don't know any of you two personally or your relationship with him (not a very good one apparently) but ... all I can say is that your knowledge will be missed on here so I hope you change your mind and resort to less drastic measures.
  2. Lol I guess Vince is happy he didn't sell his collection and started selling 'em one by one!
  3. Self serving hypocrite? What happened?
  4. Some very nice pieces of tail around the 10 second mark of the advert too. I'd trade any copy for one of those (only if they're VG or less though )
  5. Great Spanish issue with PS on the aptly titled Belter label
  6. This is one of the records I was always putting low value bids on. This tactic usually works for me to get a cheap copy after a while. But then a little while back I was leaving the record room to get something to drink... and when I passed the living room where my girl was watching tv I heard the tune and saw that it was used in that ad. And I knew I was f****d... Absolute killer tune from her (and not here only one too!)
  7. Recent thread about the pros and cons of the site, with some heated debatery thrown in for a more enjoyable reading experience: /forums/topic/125255-popsike-alternative/page__p__1278797__hl__collectors%20frenzy__fromsearch__1entry1278797
  8. I don't normally bump threads the day after I put a record online, but as there's a few people interested and some not knowing what to bid it's all getting a bit chaotic, so I'll let this run as an auction. The highest offer at the moment is £225 and I'm open to offers till 8PM tomorrow, so for those not at Prestatyn this might be some kind of consolation prize. For those that didn't see the original thread, this is the rarer (and imo better) version of the in-demand 45 by The Matta Baby. It doesn't have the 'crowd noises' which makes the drums stand out even more which makes it a pleasure to hear on a big system. 9. now auctioning this one to access the thread.
  10. Any idea on a price for the South Suburban Rhythm Section version? More than the version on Penny I suppose...
  11. Carlena Weaver tune highly recommended for those not owning a copy yet.
  12. Well more reliable than the price guides if you ask me. Of course there's a lot of factors to be taken into account (who sold it, when did it finish etc.) but it can be a good guide to see whether demand is rising or falling.
  13. Hi, I'm in the process of lowering prices on all my set sale eBay items. All come with sound and scans, so what you hear is what you get. https://stores.ebay.com/Diggers-Gold-45s
  14. Steve Mancha - I don't want to lose you - Groovesville Of course... I already thought the tune sounded familiar. Too many tunes and not enough sleep is really messing with my head. I'll get mi coat...
  15. Didn't know anything about the disc before I found it and didn't notice Mancha was credited too. Can anyone shed some further light on this one?
  16. Got a copy for sale of this virtually unknown and quality Michigan soul rarity. I had never seen or heard of a copy before. A beat up copy of this was auctioned a little while ago, but this copy is very clean and virtually unplayed. Because this one never comes up for sale there isn't an established going rate, so I'll break my own rule and put this one up for offers. If you have any further questions on this one don't be afraid to PM. The Clever Gentlemen - Love like yours.mp3 The Clever Gentlemen - Wolf in sheep's clothing.mp3
  17. Link to the 320 kbps version as promised: https://www.sendspace.com/file/wkx0ov‏
  18. Wonderful overall idea! Think I might cross the pond for this one...
  19. ehhhh...I think my Japanese is not good enough to fully understand what this thread is all about
  20. I'm afraid so. Quite a few have turned up over the last couple of years (might be one o the reasons why it's getting a bit more plays here and there).
