Somebody Of You Likes Angelo Bond...?
Most people don't know this, but Angelo was a member of the majjesttees on mutt, who were also an excellent group that cut a great 45.

Neptune Records
33 is supposedly the o'jays christmas 45, but with a different flip than the previous neptune release (20): Christmas just ain't christmas / Just can't get enough

Neptune Records
32 is Indigos - I really mean it / Keep our love in the sunshine I have not seen it but know someone who says he has it.

A Few 45s For Sale
three shades of soul is a nice version of the artistics / chilites with a temptations cover on the flip, if people don't know it

Neptune Records
I have the LP on Neptune, it's all 5th dimension-style pop soul with no really good tracks in my opinion.

Mp3 Wanted Geraldine Hunt - Katron
The exact same recording came out on checker, it's a good song, but a total copy of mary wells "you beat me to the bunch."

Creations/lovations/oliver Norman
McGregor was definitely NOT in the classics on yan-g and he remembers little about them. The classics were a high school group, went to englewood high school. McGregor is much older, he was in a group in the 50s and early 60s. His group was the Antennas on Clay, who are also exactly the same group as Shirley and the Squires on Constellation and who are the backing group of Perk Lee on Boss, but somehow are NOT the Squires on Boss (I think the label did something funny...). The Squires also included George McGregor, not the detroit George (who was Billy's cousin), but Billy's brother George (who had a record on Twinight backed by the Bronzettes). Billy went solo after writing "mr. shy", which was originally supposed to be a ruby andrews song, but Don Clay asked him to sing it himself. I'm still badly looking for a copy of shirley and the squires on constellation, or even a recording, to give to the group members. Thanks.

Creations/lovations/oliver Norman
"one dance" and "oh baby" are exactly the same song but there's no connection between the two groups (except that they are both southside of Chicago). Billy McGregor wrote it, and Gerald Dickerson of the creations confirmed that Billy should have had writing credit on the creations 45 even though he doesn't.

Dark End Of The Street Version
FYI, the glories do a version of it on their very last date 45. On they same record they also do a version of "don't make the good girls go bad"

Antoinetts - Ronny Boy on Karen Info/Price Please?
Hey Dave, flip of the classics Twistin '62 is called "elmo", and the 316 title is listed in the soul harmony singles book as "noah's ark / the wheel of love". I used to see the twistin '62 record around sometimes, but don't think I've seen the other title, so I can't confirm the titles on the other one, but it seems to match your listing.

Antoinetts - Ronny Boy on Karen Info/Price Please?
Hey Dave, I've been talking to one of the para-monts (Chicago group) and they remember singing "ronnie papa doo wow", the woman I've been talking too sang it for me and it sounded exactly like the antoinettes song. She said that they sang it behind a "caucasian" artist but can't remember the record but say it was released. I still have to play her the antoinettes version, but if it isn't them, there's at least another version of the same song. She said the antoinettes name sounded familiar (she doesn't remember many details now). Anyone know ANOTHER version of the song?

Major Harris "call Me Tomorrow" On Okeh
I posted in another thread, but with no image, here's an image of both sides. I have a styrene copy of major harris "call me tomorrow" on okeh for offers. It is an ISSUE with a PROMO STICKER on it. A-side label has very slight dirt on it, as visible in picture, possibly cleanable. Styrene is somewhere in between VG+ and VG++ US grade. Call me tomorrow has a light diagonal surface scratch/scuff near the runout, it's diagonal and a little less than an inch long, it's not feelable and does not affect play, some might call it a scuff and not a scratch, but I have to note it, and I would call it a surface scratch. This is the only thing that takes it down from VG++, otherwise it's nice and very shiny. I'm in the US, my ebay user id is boba. (the period is part of the name) if you want to check my feedback as a reference. Make me an offer, I won't be offended by a lowball offer (I might say no, though, as this is a pretty nice copy). I'll consider group soul trades (northern or ballads), but it would have to be a better trade for me to consider it, OR one of my following wants: compacts on carla, ledgends "fool in love" on red balloon, five wagers on toi, fads on temp-o, fabulous filtrations on d-clef. PM me with offers, I'll have this up for a few days. Here are the very large scans:

Antoinetts - Ronny Boy on Karen Info/Price Please?
I had been looking for this for a very long time, it started finally coming through ebay recently even though I had not seen it for years before. I just won one for $120 but it usually goes $150-$200 and is still pretty unknown. Also, there was one on soul spinner fairly recently.

Grading Records
I use this in-between thing, it's called VG++. Although some sellers don't use it, it's much more common for US graders to have a VG++ grading than not.

The Prophets - Shrine Item Number: 200104529878
haha, I like how the record now has 3 different labels. Like one must be the "C" side.

The Prophets - Shrine Item Number: 200104529878
Are you guys saying that he doctored a photo to get the white demo side? The letters are all crooked in the prophets title on the demo side, but none of the other letters are crooked on either side, so I guess that supports your theory. He's clearly taking a picture of a real record, though, so at least it has to be pasted on a real label (if it is fake).

Major Harris, The Seven Souls
If anyone missed it, I have a major harris "call me tomorrow" on okeh to sell. Styrene is clean, somewhere in between VG+ and VG++ (US grading, no 'EX' grade), only a few marks. "call me tomorrow" has a "for demonstration use only not for sale" sticker on it and a tiny bit of dirt on the label. PM me with offers. This is a nice copy. Thanks.

The Escorts - Rca
