My brother is a self taught artist - I've posted some of his paintings previously. He eeks out a very poor living painting - he lives in a shit caravan in Scarborough, but it's what he wants to do. Here's one of his early pet portraits - he's got a lot better since.

Yep, all look lovely dogs. Once I stop neglecting myself and get some order in my life I may get a dog - wanted one for years but have to ensure that things are right. I know I would look after it better than I do myself - as I did with Little Smith, my 18 year old cat who died a few years back. A German Shepherd would be top of my list. Pedro

I'm ok thanks Steve. You think a bit like like me - although not quite as darkly as I have my chronic mentalist issues. I was just thinking about the nights drawing in earlier........well, June to August went fast so we'll get through until December 22nd quick enough and then we start the countdown till Spring! All a bit mad and need to be careful not to wish one's life away though. Had rubbish weather the last few days too. Peter

Yep, there's plenty to go at Roburt. There's a superb Hi box set with accompanying booklets of notes - its very extensive. Ian D had a packaged one for sale the other week - cheap. Peter

Check out some of the Backbeats cd's Dean. Ian Dewhirst was selling some decent box sets cheaply on here too - lots of good stuff on the Hi label etc. Peter
