Stevo's Magic Bus
Great days I remember the bus breaking down and we had to push it up a hill I used to suffer from travel sickness especially after a nighter One particular journey back I was chucking up out of the drivers side window and drinking Lynn's Milk of Magnesia...

Old News Footage Of Bootleggers
Soul Sounds was run by Jeff King; it came and went during 1970 and issued around thirty singles, in small pressings. The first pressing was Leon Haywood - Baby Reconsider a massive sound at the time first played at the Catacomb's. I got a copy from Jeff at the Wheel and still have it but I did eventually get it on Fat Fish.

Brilliant Meeting Up With Sammy, Swish And Pete On Sunday
Another brilliant Centurial reunion Brilliant meeting up with Sammy, Swish and Pete on Sunday just like the old days,Its probably been over 30 years since we all got together but it seems like only yesterday. Sammy with his box of records (some nice gems mate) , However I was saddened to hear about Tony Coleby untimely departure R.I.P. mate. From time to time it keeps cropping up about the Walter Mitty Syndrome. (Someone who lives in a fantasy world). Trying to create a past persona in the scene and contradict the actual facts I just wish people would be honest. Dobie Gray summed it up Other guys imitate us, but the original is still the greatest https://

(actually better than the Wheel) Because there was an all dayer on the Sunday.Turfed out at 8am to Bessie Banks Go Now and back in at 9am great days. Great days

Hi Swish Great days Pity about all the bull shitters I personally blame it on all the books written about the scene, they have become bibles for wannabes.

Hi Pete Interesting reading the posts on the Metro. This is typical of the scene, so many Johnny come latelies trying to write themselves into the history books.
