  1. That's the funny thing, Nige has the Ritchie Adams red issue as does Bob Hinsley, both friends of mine who I have been on the same line-up as many many times, so I could be forgiven for thinking the issue isn't really that rare, yet they could be the only 2 that own one, like you say - who really knows
  2. I know that now Steve, mines the issue but not sure it matters much either way
  3. Maybe because over the last 20 years I'd be hard pressed to think of a record that has had more dance floor action, so somebody obviously likes it
  4. Ahhh I thought you meant Turley Richards because I didn't know of the "Jeanette" demo, a quick search reminds me that I know nothing*, *must check mine when I get home
  5. Which record? Turley Richards?
  6. Getting confused now, the Jimmy James is a version of "I feel alright" isn't it? I thought Frankie was talking about "Jeanette" .... maybe not, unless Jimmy James did a version of that too, Isn't the Jimmy James the original, written by him?
  7. It's been in demand for many years now, which could make it's availability (as opposed to rarity) a little scarce, although lot's were saying they were sick to death of it, and rightly so, 15 years or so ago, yet it's still getting lots of plays, £749 is a lot of money for a 'get out of jail free card'
  8. Watched em both myself out of curiosity, shocked doesn't really cover it,
  9. Looking for RCA demo 9273, in VG+ or better, PM with price and condition please Thanks for looking
  10. Wasn't going to buy Set 2 but weakened the other day when Amazon dropped the price to under £40, Great service and super fast delivery, box arrived yesterday, Today the box set is on it's way back to Amazon, 3 'dished' records and 1 of them (Four Tops) seriously warped, Very disappointed, not trying another,

  13. Clever stuff, well to me anyway, I don't have a kindle but noticed through the link I don't need one, installed the free kindle app on my phone, bought the book and it's downloaded to my phone and my laptop (windows 8), whichever I read the book on now when I change devices it will start at whatever page I was up to,
  14. Stunned, I have no other words R.I.P.
  15. I have one, great apart from DJing with, a nightmare when pulling records up, pull a few up and then go to pull a few more up and the first lot fall back down again, have to pull them out of the box/bag completely, then there's always the chance you won't put em back,

If I'm being perfectly honest I haven't got the foggiest idea what all that means, you go to events that are 'teeth grindingly boring' and I should be guilty and borrow some records????? I don't know who you are or the venues you attend, which are irrelevant anyway, so why have I a guilty conscience? Are you saying you want to carry on attending those boring venues, although if those venues are reasonably well attended they can't be boring for everyone, you want to keep the same DJs but tell those DJs to leave their records at home and hire someone else's, preferably ones of your choice? Yea it sounds like the future

Sounds like you are attending the wrong venues, for you that is, if they are 'teeth grindingly boring' why go?

Either that or a fool Nev,
