Always loved this track and whenever I hear it (which is rarely, sadly) is one of those tracks that instantly puts me back at Station Rd. A full floor dancing AND clapping to this was truly fantastic. And I wonder how many Jocks were caught out by that ending?..

Be nice to have a 'proper' Wigan night where some of the above lesser know tracks could be played out instead of just the usual Casino parody nights were the promoter thinks that sticking a night owl badge on a flyer and playing the MVP's and Frank Wilson makes it the real deal.....

I presume it's just a 'catch all' term for those who take any and every opportunity to blame the Casino for everything from Hitlers invasion of Poland to the current Ebola outbreak (it started in the toilets). It seems whenever Station Rd is mentioned out come the usual suspects with the usual 'Pop shite, tourists, Spencers and Soussan' comments. And of course Wigan was just full of Divs for eight years because 'Real' soul fans went to all those other great 70's venue's which only ever played quality rare soul.

I wonder if there will be a compare with a mic at the front of the coach?..... " And on your left we have the bingo hall steps where Duffy used to sit every week before going into the Casino".
