  1. As said above both sides are kicking, every time I've ever played it people ask what it is - before someone says it old to some and new to others. Believe this was her rarest on Eastern. Records like this and a few others off the top of my head such as Sterling McGee - I Still Believe In You on TRC and Claude Huey - Feel Good All Over on Early Bird have been kicking around but sound so right for now so deserve a few spins

King Ernest - I Feel Alright on Barry /index.p...si&img=8649 I'd do it meself but can't even listen to these at the moment, but a good one to put up today would be Look by Tina Britt on Eastern if someone could do the honours

I really like this and think it's a great tune. Tim Brown had a box or so of them a while back and was knocking then out for a tenner (think that was what I paid). Haven't seen any more for sale though since other than the one on John Manships site that has sat there for a while at a much higher price Sold mine for £40 a couple of months ago
  8. "But many may not" Does he get a little flute out and as ask the record "So tell me record are ye an original copy?" in a Little Britain stylee
  9. Damn, missed it You see, you don't look on ebay for a short while and one bloody well comes up Did you get it Linda? How much did it go for??
  10. As it doesnt look like I'll get a copy of She Did by The Ascots anytime soon, does anyone know if it's available on CD at all

That would be a bootleg Original issue on Brunswick 45 and from the LP Beautiful Day
  13. He seems to have mellowed a bit with age
  14. If the seller declares the real value and it's over (I think) about £15 the HM Customs & Excise want their cut of import tax. The only way around it is that the seller puts on the customs declaration that it's worth say USD5.00 but then you are stuffed as far as insuring it I've had a number of occaisions were the post office put on a sticker saying I need to be charged but the postie didn't see it so I've gotten away with it
  15. are these dodgy issues https://cgi.ebay.com/Doctor-Who-Trading-Car...1QQcmdZViewItem definetly not original music
  16. Pete You can add single items as well as send a new list for them to upload. You need to go to the Seller/Affiliate section as mentioned below To change any settings go to MY ACCOUNT, click on Seller/Affiliate: on the top left hand side, then scoll down and go to Change Preferences / Registration It does take a while for an uploaded list to show so don't panic yet Not sure about how to categorise them on an uploaded list, sorry
  17. Personally I'd say if the crowd warrants it pitch it up, if it's a small venue and you could get away with it leave it as a shuffler.
  18. This is the thing though Bazza, you are not hearing it how the artist intended but how the producer and sound engineers intended. The artist would have had minimal input unless they were the likes of Stevie Wonder/Smokey Robinson/Marvin Gaye ect , they would have been told what to sing, how to sing it and that's about it really
  19. knowing how to use the pitch control
  20. Would anyone say the gain control shouldn't be used as this is definetly enhancing the recording? shouldn't alter the bass, middle or treble when playing a particular record either?? All those little buttons are there to be made use of
  21. Wasn't the "original" of Suspicion booted at the wrong speed Pitching is good in my opinion, both up and down. There are so many good tunes that need that little tweak to make it that bit more dancefloor friendly, Little Joe Hinton's Let's Start A Romance for instance needs a little tweak up.
  22. updated but still plenty of goodies left
