Rasputin's Stash Interview
Hi Bob! Thanks for posting. Rasputin Stash has always been one of my favorite groups. I guess I have most on the material they put out, I have two original albums on vinyl + a CD comp also featuring some previously unissued bonus cuts. I have always been intrigued as to why they changed their name from Rasputin´s Stash to Rasputin Stash, presupposing it was for contractual reasons. Have listened to the first half of the interview already, will continue listening later on today and really looking forward to it. Best regards Melismo

Who Deserves A Compliation?
Love their music, soul music at its finest. Charly Records put out a Pic & Bill comp, have it on a vinyl album, it´s from 1988 I think. Cheers, Melismo

Prince Phillip Mitchell
It´s from a comp put out by Expansion earlier this year, it is entitled Leon Ware and Friends and consists of previously released tracks from the 70´s and 80´s, recordings that Leon Ware has penned or produced for other artists. One of the people behind this new comp is my mate Paul Clifford. Titles include "Everywhere Inside Me" by Norman Connors, "I Don't Know" by Syreeta, "You Do The Right Things" by Al Wilson, "Point Of View" by Rockie Robbins, "No Tricks" by Chuck Jackson, "I Can't Keep Holding Back" by Shadow, "Trust Your Heart (ext 12" mix)" by Bobby Womack, "Just Don't Make It Hurt" by Krystol, "I Came To Love You" by Booker T, "I Can Dream" by Themal Jones, "You Make Me Wanna Love Again" by Vesta Williams, "I Know It's You" by Donny Hathaway, "Can You Feel What I'm Saying" by Minnie Riperton, "Looking Up To You" by Michael Wycoff, "Thank You Early Bird" by Jerry Butler, and the tracks "What's Your World" and "Girl Girl Girl" by Leon Ware himself.

2009 Carolina Soul Radio Show
I´m using Divshare too for some of my uploads. Do you (or anyone else) know how this works? When you´ve exceeded your download limits, is it possible to go down to zero (start from scratch) again after some time or are you forever denied access to the free download service again and must become a paying member in order for people to be able to continue downloading your Divshare uploads?! Regards, Melismo

Black Rhythm Studio Orchestra
Found this among the stuff I have bought during the last few years, an album by Black Rhythm Studio Orchestra. No year of release stated and cannot really make out the label either (Suisa/Multi?). I take it this is a fairly modern group with an authentic 60´s retro sound?! Tried to Google them to find more info, but came up with nothing, so this is probably quite obscure. Will post a couple of tracks on here, since I think these sounds may appeal to some members on here. Whereas certain tunes on the album feature female vocals, I have opted for the male-vocalled ones, since I am so moved by the man´s vocal delivery, and will put them up as refo-soul clips, will start with the best one for me: "The Waves Are High Today".

What Decks Do You All Use?
Hi there! What decks do I use? Well, at home listening to music I use a beltdrive Dual turntable. When making my podcast mixes (https://melismo.podomatic.com) and ripping vinyl in order to post Refo-Soul clips on here, I use a cheapie Lenco USB-turntable with an inbuilt amplifier, and connect it to my computer, which works a treat. In professional radio studios or out at clubs I´ve always used Technics. Cheers, Mel
