  1. Never seen this on a 7 other than the recent re-issue, the LP is not expensive £10/£15 and crops up quite regularly. Coke Escovedo was in Santanta as a percussionist in the late 60's earlt 70's I believe.
  2. I beleive that only originals are listed as VINYL. VYNAL is probably correct for bootlegs.
  3. I heard the same rumour, perhaps down to the fact the the LP was pretty much full of his plays. I've still got a copy somewhere.
  4. Museums certainly do have eductional value and were we to have a museum of poular youth culture then the Northern / Rare scene would certainly be a feature. However, I hadn''t really considered a cafe to be an educational facility. Perhaps I'm just blinkered.
  5. Wigan Cafino The Planners Dream Goes Wrong
  6. I thought this was CD only. If I'm wrong I could use some details. Cheers Shaun

  9. There you go as cheap as chips as Mr Orangina mans says. https://cgi.ebay.com/GLORIA-SCOTT-WHAT-AM-I...VQQcmdZViewItem
  10. I've bought stuff, as I'm sure we all have, that has really rocketed in value over the last 25 years or so. I remember getting things like Jan Jones King Tutt and ZZ & Company for a tenner each at Leicester Oddfellows and thinking I was paying £2 or £3 over the odds. However ignoring items that have really appreciated in value here are three that cost £5 each and mean a great deal to me regardless of how much they go for today. Leon Bryant Finders Keepers De -lite (Still goes for £5 ) Clyde McPhatter Why can't we get together Decca ( Probably £10 today) Dee Dee Warwick When love slips away Mercury ( Probably £25 to £30 today)
  11. received this morning Cheers
  12. Carolyn Sullivan - Dead
  13. He's more orange than white these days and makes Tom Jones look like an albino. Can't knock his voice or song writing credentials though.
  14. "Brothers in Barns" by Guyhirn Straits
  15. Beautiful Macky. galicia - asturias - cantabria - basque country . This all sounds so much more romantic than Orton - Woodston - Stanground and W'sey. Cheers mate Shaun
  16. Richard, Postage from Australia is usually about USD 10 for a 12 / LP and USD 4 for a 45. I would have thought that USD 12 from South Korea was more than enough to cover the sellers costs. Cheers Shaun
  17. I blame the parents
  18. You need to apply the Dulux colour chart rule, blue and green should not be seen ( perhaps that should be heard). It really depends on what your idea of blue and green are. If you're colour blind then it does become a problem https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3bA5OnSqnjA
  19. Well that certainly provides a little clarity on the matter.

  21. Just thought that I'd mention the new Jimmy Levine CD - Share My Love - as I've not read anything on here about it. In my opinion a very strong cd that contains a fantastic version of You Are My Heaven. Other notable tracks include All I Want To Do ( Is Be With You ) and Wonderful. I'll have a go at uploading a track but I'm relatively new here and had trouble when I tried earlier. Cheers Shaun
  22. I've now found and purchased a copy on here, thanks Rob. Cheers Shaun
  23. Thanks Dave, I keeping checking EBAY for but hoped that one of the goods souls on here might want to part with their copy. Cheers Shaun
  24. Thanks for this but it's been out of print for a while now so I'm having to rely on the 2nd hand market. Cheers Shaun
