Another Lester Tipton On E-bay
i can vouch for the truth of this story. i was in brad's shop while he was on tour with his band, and the first thing the guy who was running things for him said to me when i walked in was "you won't believe what came in the door the day brad left town"....

Showmen "the Wrong Girl"
showmen, "the wrong girl" (minit), strong VG (on a scale without E grades), plays better. good dj copy. some ring wear and sticker on label. $100. soul excitement, "stay together" (pink dolphin), VG+. some slight audible crackle on intro and fade, but once the music kicks in, it sounds great. $700. paypal only. e-mail, please: finewine@wfmu.org thanks, matt

New Daptone Podcast
glad you liked it, toad. regarding "our last goodbye," my uncle worked quite a bit with ollie in detroit and several years back gave me a tape reel with about ten songs on it, including this one. no markings on the tape box, but other things on it are the instrumental backing track for "almost," both sides of the volumes on karen, and a possibly unreleased female vocal thing...can't recall what else. some speculation that this might be jimmy delphs, but that's never been confirmed. that's all i know.

New Ebay Genre
here was the top ten tittyshaker list i provided martin's website some time ago (it would look slightly different now). think 50-year-old american suit in las vegas for a business convention circa 1963 eyeing go-go dancer's twirling-tassel-adorned pasties as he drools into his eleventh beer of the night: 1. SAXIE RUSSELL, EL MONKEY (RAN-DEE) 2. BLOCKBUSTERS, MUDDY PT. 1 (ROCKIN) 3. JACK LA FORGE, THE CLEOPATRA KICK (REGINA) 4. UNCLE FESTER'S BLUES (HOCTOR) 5. JON THOMAS, TIZZY (JUNIOR) 6. SIR STAN & THE COUNTS, SOULIN' (MAGNUM) 7. TWISTIN' KINGS, CONGO (MOTOWN) 8. GEORGE YOUNG, MECHANIC FROM HAMTRAMCK (PACESETTER) 9. SIMTEC SIMMONS, COOLING IT NOW/LIMBER UP (MAURCI) 10 ANDRE WILLIAMS, SWEET LITTLE PUSSYCAT (WINGATE)
