  1. "Hometown boy / too much" visually this is vg- or there abouts. Lots of surface marks and small sticker on label. "too much" has been skimmed so plays through with no background noise but has lost some of its depth of sound. "hometown boy" plays great, nice and loud and has not been skimmed. so hb would make a great DJ side and I have played too much in a venue myself and it didn't suffer too badly. M- i'd be asking 350 / 400 UK but for this i'd want 150UK the phrase "suitable for DJ'ing" springs to mind and hometown boy still has a lot of life in it.

  3. gemm, netsoundsmusic, endless dealers sites and lists. but ebay is still my buying place of choice.

    20 quid should cover it.
  5. i'm not interested in it, vegas might be.....
  6. $50 does seem a bit optimistic. That is probably the price it should be but it always sells for more than that.
  7. something of a deep soul holy grail as well..... but the dancefloor side pushed it way out of my league. I knew I was stuffed when it was over $2000 with 3 days at least to go. but not his best deep side.

peps did a version of "detroit michigan" as well but I think you have the better version with RL.
  9. I had a similar expertienece with this guy. Well described item and a good price just took a long time to arrive. But once you'vre dealt with him once you know what to expect and the 2nd time and its not as stressful.
  10. Arthur Freeman on Jumbo has been on ebay quite a lot lately. I never got to know exactly how many were found by the guy who szold a few very cheap a year or so ago but right now it s still selling fro around $500 despite a fairly steady supply. I've heard a few different quantities. I wonder how long before they dry up......... I like the record but i'm being cautious with this one. Unless somebody want to sell me one cheap
  11. I actually prefer the other side of this kind of early house music a bit baleric but great none the less. I find "some things" is average at best. I heard John has had to pull things in the past where people have bid on there own stuff but that is only one of many possible reasons why this would be pulled. Can't start assuming that just yet......
  12. is this a different GG to the guy on HI... I think it is but can't remember seen a couple of these on ebay recently usually around $200 if memory serves me right.
  13. issues do sometimes get the flip which doesn't appear on the demo's that just have the same song on both sides. In this case they should probably be worth more as you get 2 songs. not realy relevant to the original post just an obseravtion which could effect price.....

DRIVING ME TO THE ARMS OF A STRANGER/I GOTTA FIND A WAY-ROJAC 131 I'm missing this release if anybody has a copy they would like to sell. I have the earlier label number of "I gotta find a way" Thanks, dylan
  15. didn't kylie do a version of "out on the floor" ? I read it somewhere..... obviously I wouldn't know first hand about such things.
  16. SOLD !! thanks for positive comments.
  17. I saw that on his list prehaps its a mega rare alternative version....
  18. Darrow Fletcher "Its no mistake" Crossover Ex 75UK crossover is the label and crossover is the style for the mellow mover. Great 45 but needs must. thanks, dylan

i'm sure the other copy of this 45 curently on ebay will sell for much less......
  20. yes they are real and its a great 45. I think he's stopped selling the 12" now and switched to the 7's. There is a thread onm here about the 12" being an extended mix that is spoilt not imporved. I found him very polite and a nice person to deal with.

People will want to see the sales post up the link... but only if the prices and 45s are good

Big demand for the "Doing our thing" side on the funk scene and its had a reissue on the strength of this but have any soul DJs tried playing the flip "thoughts" It knocks me sideways. Quite slow pace but I reckon it would go down a treat. and has anybody got or seen a M- copy all the copies I know of are vg or vg+ at best depending on how strict you grade 45s.
  23. I'n not a big fan of "walk with a grove" the first 20 seconds suggest its going to be awesome then it juts falls short from that point on. It never goes up a gear and just plods along with that same riff. I'd say you could get this from the states for $400-500 quite easily prehaps less if you dig enough.
  24. Baz My spies tell me the flame one is the one to have, his finest hour, but see my post there is another on florentine.
  25. and what about his other 45 on the label whats that worth......
