  1. Classic Mod / Northern Soul (?) 45 from Mr Georgie Fame - SOMEBODY STOLE MY THUNDER bw Entertaining Mr Sloane on CBS Records. As you can see from the photos, someone has very thoughtfully applied 2 x Dymo labels to the A-side, but they probably are genuine 70's applications, so at least they're in keeping with the 1970 release date 🙃😉🤣 Other than that, the actual condition of the vinyl is EX with only very minor hairlines/sleeve marking on both sides. All important 4-prong centre is thankfully still in place, and still has the original CBS sleeve. Price is £250 ALL IN (inc. Royal Mail Special Delivery - fully insured) and payment by either Bank Transfer or PayPal F&F. Thanks for looking. Any questions, queries or offers, just send over a PM (not the soggy-type outside No. 10).
  2. Hi all, Apologies, but my top budget is £350 - does anyone want to part with their copy of Jimmy Mcfarland (Lonely Lover)? 🙏
  3. Hi all, After an original styrene copy on Audio Arts please; VG+ condition or better. PM if you are able to help 🙂 Many thanks, Steve
  4. Mine is Monique - If You Love Me. It's the part towards the end that pleads "I love you baby, yes I do" when her voice cracks. Such unbelievable passion nearly moves me to tears every time I hear it. And yes, it's my ringtone!!
  5. Anyone have a current value on this 45 please: Intentions - I just can't win / Feel so bad (Moneytown) Cheers, Steve EASTBOURNE
  6. Sure they'll be back... See you tomorrow Steve
  7. Manus, I'll bet spending £3.50 on a record in 74/75 felt exactly the same as £100 in 2000/2001!! You going to the all-nighter tomorrow night - perhaps we can swap stories on how good Tobi Lark is!!!!! Steve EASTBOURNE
  8. The first record I paid over £100 for was Tobi Lark "Happiness is here" (Topper) - won it on E-Bay about 5 years ago and crapped myself after, wondering how I was going to pay for it!! Does anyone else go through the whole emotional range when finding records; the exhiluration on finding it, the guilt about spending money on a piece of plastic, the pleasure when putting the needle on the record, etc, etc, etc.!! Steve EASTBOURNE
  9. Should have looked closer - they do a bundle option at just under £150... https://www.thomann.de/gb/american_audio_turntable_bundle.htm Cheers, Steve
  10. I bought one of these decks and they are fabulous for the money (direct drive for under £67 - amazing!!!) https://www.thomann.de/gb/american_audio_ttd_2400.htm Looks like they also do a mixer too, so a good chance of getting the lot for £150. Hope this helps. Steve
  11. What makes these your top 5's - is it the memories attached to each of the tune do you think? I know if I had to think of 5 tunes they would take me straight back to where I first heard them, or maybe even bought them. Steve EASTBOURNE
  12. PRICES ALL REDUCED and one more to be added: Precisions: If this is love (Drew) - VG - £10 Thanks, Steve
  13. Updated.

  19. Count me in, Russ. How about Eastbourne Town Hall for a nighter??? BTW - some of the best nights I have had in the past X years were at the Snooker Club in Portsmouth(?) that were run by Steve C and Dave. Music policy, for me, was absolutely spot on and always reminded me of Capitol Soul Club. Gutted when it ended.
  20. Tee hee. No mate - it's in great condition!!
  21. Reviewed the price, etc. and final offer is £250 (inc. postage) for hopefully a quick sale. Cheers, -------------------- Steve Woolston EASTBOURNE www.SouthCoastSoulClub.co.uk
  22. Only two weeks to go 'til she drops, mate - dosh required...
  23. But how many others could we say we didn't buy for a fiver in the 80's and 90's!!!!
  24. Well, after having received wildly differing valuations I have decided to put it up for sale - if it goes it goes! Price is £350 (or sensible offers) including special delivery post. PM if interested. Cheers, -------------------- Steve Woolston EASTBOURNE www.SouthCoastSoulClub.co.uk
