It's only a film, people will go and hopefully enjoy along with the popcorn etc. Theres more important things in life like attending clubs etc. Thats where the real scene is...though i'm looking forward to seeing the film, many people have put their lives and money into the prodject. Chaps! Ladies! Well what we feared is what we got. A total crock of sh*te, it was so painful and sad that it has come to this. The scene which we all loved and worked at either by promoting, djing, collecting, dancing and making lifelong friends over years has come to this on the Telly. What really annoyed me was the media wh*res and people we all know from the scene dancing away looking like total prats. Some of these people moan like mad when off the street people come and dance at venues, total hypocrites. They should have more respect for themselves but i do understand its a free world and all that. Geez i'm gonna have to restart the Capitol Soul Club and get things back to some kinda respectfulness lol. ps I dancde in Levis, Brouges and a brutus etc for years, thats where i must of being going wrong....doh! F*cking rent a tent trousers and a stick on badge.....right i gotta stop now before i start smashing the keyboard in a karate style Greg

Ha OCS eh! those were the days alright. I dj'd for many of the bands at the time (mid 9ts) but i can tell ya now....i never appeared in a video dancing . Keb did a few bits alright and anyway many dancers are exhibitionists and love the limelight . Maybe they should play "Trade my soul to the devil" in the background of the One Show. I hear one of the dancers is going to coach Dermot o leary so he can show our scene as a joke, can you imagine the p*ss taking. Some people have become the entertainers for the general public to laugh at and the rest of us to cringe. Greg

Again it will be painful as 99% of these programs are, though it is light entertainment and will be watched through fingers thinking where did it all go wrong We should send someone in who can robot dance like the lad in the inbetweeners, f*ck that would be funny seeing there faces then . I'm still alive and still have the records (well most of them). Great to see all the opinions about RnB and the varied tastes and styles. Back in the day at the 100club allnighters i would consider part of my set to be always played especially for the mods by the piano corner - I loved pissing off the old guard down at the record bar lol. i would always mix it up with gerri hall, Nat hall (a & b side on loop), j mae matthews, troy dodds flip on el camino, peppermint harris, cookie jackson, jimmy Hughes, Al Hughes etc. Geez there was tons of tunes which really brought back the younger (modish) crowd and continued onto the capitol soul club and of many great discoveries and rediscoveries like the isonics and loads of stuff i can't recall at this moment. The thing i found was the ladies especially loved RnB and even the more latin style tunes, happy days!!! right i gotta get back to my QPR youngsters where working on defending compact from the long ball lol. I banged the arse of this in the early 9ts at the 100club allnighters and various London clubs, i remember playing it when i got it from butch for a ton and the only person on the dancefloor doing his little swagger was was Guy Hennigan. Great record and always been played in London, Alan h. has now got my copy and still plays it. Value £250ish nowadays, top tune and very underrated. Greg
