Looking forward to doing this again. Sell-out friendly crowd, great dance floor, loads of free safe parking, cheap drinks and add in Tony Bowd's brilliant decks and sound system what's not to love? Long time for us since we've been down this deep in Cornwall and we can't wait. In the deep South West I just always remember dedicated soulies with 'ears wide open' prepared to hammer the dance floor not only for what they know really well but also for the unfamiliar and the occasional 'unknown' as well. That's what Jo and Tony do. And when it's safe and they're not paying attention, I like to slip some reggae/ska in as well....so maybe distract them and don't say anything! Been digging down the back of the sofa for the 'forgotten sounds', and after embarrassing myself last time for only having one Motown tune in my box I've put a couple more in this time. Cathy and I were blown away by this venue, the sound, and the deck cams. absolutely, well said wilxy, and great + heartfelt input from Neil R. seems that we are hearing this sort of thing so often now ; it's so sad......we've got to remember and understand just how lucky we are to know and remember the fabulous music these guys left behind, and try and make sure they're never forgotten.

Have seen Quittin' Time credited to writers ' J.Taylor - F Briggs ' [ mine for example ]. And others with writing credits just to ' J.Taylor '. Assume both legit, both issued more or less at the same time ?? Thanks for any guidance. And please no Steve Wright inspired jokes about ' Quittin', no G '
