got to agree with you there f.b..but i suppose the acrobatics just seem to spark a little bit of excitment when some stomper came thundering thru the speakers and dancers came scurrying on to the dance floor jockeying for position ready to comence the spins and floor work....personally i,d quite happily stand back a yard or two and just groove on the carpet. Give me a good beat ballad and let the proper soul just ooooze out! any day.

must ave been same gaff that came round our way ,with the max romeo reggae tunes also used to give us the judge dread rude big 6..7..8 etc catalouge along with rupie edwards ire feeling and the cimarons kick me routine.....must admit though i still enjoy listening to the judge dread instrumental "b" sides especially "one armed bandit" on the reverse of big 6 and mind the doors on reverse of big 8 aptly played on the ghost train..scarey!
