    Nobody said that your list was unknows, i was just saying that they have been around as long as the played to death oldies, and most punters who go to local soul nights only want played out oldies. EG I want to a birthday do a few weeks ago in Burnley Dave Fergie (veep) played some great stuff hardly anyone dancing. Next DJ first record f++kin Interplay dancefloor packed! I think everbody knows you can buy good records cheaper than alot pressings that are about. I blame care in the commuity for the price some people pay for a 85p boot.

    Bloody hell Steve, what year did you leave school. When i was at school i didn,t no what a bootleg was? that,s if there were any about. What year did the soul sounds boots come out? I left school in 1970 Dave. P.S. It was 1975 before i started playing OVO and i DJ,d all around East Lancs till 1983.

    I used the persil ticket to get to away games, can,t remember the years they where about. We used to catch the bus to Wigan from Blackburn(change at Chorley). Used to walk on the bus pass the queu and find a old bus ticket and suck the writing off just in case a inspecter gets on. Got away with it for ages. Than we used to go in mate,s mini-van, than got a car myself.
