Help With Price Please
Here is some more info that I have had the seller send to me. I hope that this will help identify it and it's worth? p924br, p933a, triangle shape- 54838, triangle shape-54132. There is also some type of mark, looks like an 'mr' inside a circle the other looks like an 'r' that almost loops around over the top of itself

Help With Price Please
Just noticed looking at the other copies on Popsike, that this one is different in as much as it has the 'Harp' logo on both sides of the label, and the 'Promotional copy' on the left hand side, and the 'Not for sale' on the right hand side? The others that I can see have only 1 'Harp' logo on the right side and the 'Promotional or DJ copy not for sale' altogether on the right hand side also? can't see another one with these markings.

Help With Price Please
I have managed to get the seller to send me a scan, not a very good one to be honest, but by looking at it would anyone say it was an original? It has '12th of never' on the other side.

Help With Price Please
No it's a USA Parkway Demo, and not the bootleg one either, a real one (I think). I have had the boot which is worth about 15-25, but I thought that the orig' demo would be worth quite a bit more?

Help With Price Please
Hello and a Happy new Year to all Soul Sourcers :-) Can someone please help me with pricing a record that I have been offered from a friend (not on here btw) The record is an original US Parkway Demo copy of the 'Tymes - Here she comes', it is in what I would call VG condition at best? Any advice please? Thank you

In The Pocket
How about 'In the pocket - The Brothers'? Lyrics are 'Got it, in the pocket', same thing I think.

Are Youngsters Coming Through?
There is nothing I like to see more than the young ones who are completely ignoring the music being force fed to the youth of today through the money focused commercial radio stations, and following their own instincts and tastes to listen to Northern Soul. I am always pleased to see the younger ones at the 'Leeds Central' alldayers, and always try to capture them in the photos that are taken. Remember that once us older ones were once the younger ones too, and we are carrying on the scene from those that have left us, the young ones coming onto the scene now will do the same when we are gone too.

So Was 2012 A Good Year For You Soulwise? Nuffin Negative
This year has been in all a good year for me. I picked up a lot of great tunes, and cheap too, some of which I hadn't heard of before, so always a bonus. This year has also been good as the 'Leeds Central' came into it's own for the second time around, bringing with it many faces I hadn't seen for nearly 40 years. So yes in general a great year for soul for me.

Not sure how this will look, but these are the 'rare' items on the RS List number 1. There another 10 pages of general; stuff too.

Old Lists
The Searling list is about 6 pages long and double sided, and the JM list much longer so not sure best way to post them up?

Leeds Central
Set times for Xmas Alldayer 2012 December 23rd - 1pm-9pm All original 'Central' DJs as usual playing all original 'Central' sounds! Dennis Billingham - 1-1.45, Mike Eastwood - 1.45-2.30, Keith Atkinson 2.30-3.15 Tony Jackson - 3.15-4, Chris Mallows 4-5 Steve Luigi - 5-6, Swish - 6-7, Paul Rowan - 7-8, Twink - 8-9. As stated above, as you know it's a small club in comparison, so I am having a cut off point at 300-350 depending on how it's looking. This is to make sure that there is plenty of dancing room.

Leeds Central
I wonder if any of the regulars at the Central remember my 21st birthday down there, and I was presented with a stunning birthday cake with the Central badge iced on top. Fantastic! I also seem to remember having a whiskey for every year I'd lived and drunk myself sober, stopped drinking altogether after that and haven't touched a drop since.

"simon Soussan" Update ?
I know at one time he lived in Holbeck, Leeds, in the flats at the end of the street where I lived. Either Meynel Hights or Holbeck towers. Never went to his place though.

Queens Hall Bradford
Queens hall was used for many different events after the Northern dos, I remember playing there at a Rave event in the 90s, great place. Also was Windsor baths ever used for Northern events? another nice venue!

Leeds Central
Next weeks Xmas do! Get there early, cut off point 300-350 depending on how it looks, this is to attempt to leave room to dance :-)
