Agentsmith Members October 20Oct 20 Off the back of ' Our Bazza's ' set at east lancs ' twinny ' Ashton Uky, it's all systems go in expectation of another cracking night at CVH. The quality and turnover of music past and present is always second to none, nonemoreso than the early doors session featuring Mine Host's crate digging selections which always throw up some sublime and unobvious platters, forgotten, underplayed, under valued or ridiculously rare!. The same can be applied to the other 9 lives in the room, all with amazing extensive catalogues of tunes that provide food for thought as well as a perfect opportunity to give the legs n feet a good workout on the dancefloor!.What's not to like and look forward to?😉👍
Agentsmith Members October 20Oct 20 As always: accommodation for your consideration if you're travelling far and require a stop over. DON'T DRIVE TIRED!Check out hotel websites for discounted rates and availability.

Billypop Members October 24Oct 24 I should play this in the spirit of Lowton. I remember being the 1st person to play it there, after purchasing from Steve Connor for a ridiculous low price.

Jessie Pinkman Members October 24Oct 24 Billy don't let Andrew put you off giving The Tropics a spin, he doesn't know what he's talking about.😂If I'm not mistaken a former Butch spin that still sounds great.
Billypop Members October 24Oct 24 In my box Bob. If Andrew turns up then I thinking will play and dedicate it to him from you 😂😂😂

Bazm Members October 24Oct 24 So any Casino affectionados may remember this little ditty? Well that's not the reason for posting it here, it's the fact that CULCHETH resident Simon Ingham has started to feature the nice cheap 'B' side, 'I'm Hung Up On A Dream' in his sets and believe you, me it sounds right for today's (non-top 500) scene...Nice one Si and even better cause I had one on the shelves
Bazm Members October 25Oct 25 (edited) Here’s one that’s just found its way into SOUL SAM’s play box. A true rarity that probably suffered lack of exposure due to that fact. Originally a Mecca spin that was never picked up at Wigan, again, probably due to its rarity but if it had WOW! can you imagine this bouncing off the Station Road walls…OK we may have ‘missed’ it back then but no longer! Full Tilt guaranteed this Saturday at CULCHETH! Thanks SAM, can’t wait!... Edited October 25Oct 25 by Bazm

Baz, It must have been discovered after 1975 or I'm sure Ian Levine would have included it on his wonderful Sceptre/Wand Solid Soul Sensations compilation LP for Pye.
