I have an issue and mine is exactly the same at the beginning.

I always assumed it was needle burn - but maybe it is a fault in the pressing?

Can all those with issues please speak up

That's a weird one as I thought the same! Mine was MINT from Martin Koppell 13yrs or so ago but it's always had that slight hiss just before the music kicks in.

I knew others played ok or else I would not have assumed mine had needle burn.

my issues the same! i dont know if the demos are like that but as they are all usually from same stamper its likely!

Sorry to destroy the logic but my demo's got 2/3 seconds of hiss right at the start (which I too thought was needle burn).

No Chorley your not Ive never had a demo that doesn't hiss and sold one last month that had it, I always thought they all did.

My demo has 2/3 secs of hiss I presumed to be needle burn right at the beginning too.

Soooo, any chance we might get to the bottom of this hiss/no hiss thingy seeings as it definitely isn't needle burn?
