Good point Bri, Popsike has this coming down a bit over the last few auctions.

Amazing record though, and worth the brass it went for based on quality!

no, they are differently recorded. the volume on the Soul Spot 45 is very low compared to the Eastern release and I seem to remember also other differences.

It was a very nice copy indeed Dave

Was one about a month back that sounded awful but still went for a OTT price if memory serves me right.

Condition is all where top prices are concerned,shame some sellers on ebay don't understand this when listing Buy it now's .

Still it's a buyers market and if someones daft enough to pay high for a "log fire" record who am i to argue

i think the eastern has a speech part from willie on it which the soul spot doesn't...

Eastern copy more mid tempo with talkover in the mid section..much more atmopsheric

soulpot copy more uptempo much (too) faster sound but quality not as good as above copy
