Would like to know what you guys think about this.
About 2002/2003 I compiled a home-made CD called "the unofficial For Modern Millionaires vol. 2" after Goldmine stopped "For Millionaires" series. Apart from a dozen copies or so that I sold @ 5 each at the Nuernberg weekender I gave all other copies away as presents.
Tracklisting was:
1 Hamilton Movement She's gone
2 Mind & Matter - Under your spell
3 Rokk - Patience
4 Oggletree Bros - Gonna keep a check on you
5 Differences - Five minutes
6 Aged in Harmony - You're a melody
7 Tierra - Just loving you
8 Tolbert - I've got it
9 Gino Washington - So in love
10 Trace of smoke - Treasure mind
11 Tony Aiken & Future 2000 - Good things
12 Luther Davis Group - Good things
13 Marshall, Donovan & Broomfield - Since I found my baby
14 Executive Force - Midnight lovin
15 Rhythm Machine - Put a smile on time
16 Anna Raye - Will you love my child
17 Wee - Try me
18 Al James & The New Rhythm Band - Give me up or turn me loose
19 Frankie Zhivago - Somebody stole your love
20 2001 Black Essence - Change in my life
Earlier today I came across a recently released compilation called "Rare, Collectable And Modern" on the UK Base Camp label. Here's the tracklisting:
01. The Hamilton Movement - She's Gone
02. Mixed Feelings - Sha La La
03. Rokk - Patience
04. The Differences - Five Minutes
05. Ogletree Bros - Gonna Keep A Check On You
06. Aged In Harmony - You're A Melody
07. Tearra - Just Loving You
08. Tolbert - I've Got It
10. Trace Of Smoke Treasure Mind
11. Tony Aiken And The Future 2000 - Good Things
12. Luther Davis Group - You Can Be A Star
13. Marshall Donovan And Broomfield - Since I Found My Baby
14. Executive Force - Midnight lovin'
15. Rhythm Machine - Put A Smile On Time
16. Anna Raye - Will You Love My Child
17. Wee - Try Me
18. Al James And The New Rhythm Band - Give Me Up Turn Me Loose
19. Frankie Zhivago Young - Somebody Stole My Love
20. Alvin Green & Green Fire - The Sun Shines (Every Time You Say You're Mine)
21. The Coasters - Love Is A Funny Thing
Out of 21 tracks 17 are also on my CD and almost in the same order. Coincidence? Or did they bootleg my bootleg CD?
PS: I also did a "(the unofficial) For Millionaires only vol. 5" which got bootlegged too (only difference being front cover) and sold by somebody who also posts on Soul Source quite regularly, funny isn't it?
