Can anyone help me with the 12" of The Carstairs on Inferno. C'mon, none of you lot want a RE-ISSUE on a TWELVE INCH do you???

Almost certainly an after the fact extended remix, 'twas a 1973 recording originally and 12" singles weren't invented as such until 1975.

Interestingly enough, Inferno also released a 12" extended version of Gloria Jones "Tainted Love"

The Carstairs Inferno 12" is the same as the Inferno 7" - two different, opened up sparser mixes by remix mainman Tom Moulton. LUVVLY stuff! I never saw one for years- finally mine came from Neil Rushton in a swap for Betty Swann on UK CBS (although it took ten years and one broken by the postman attempt ! )
