It's the original version (Patterson). Must say, I find Shannon's version stronger, not taking anything away from the Patterson which is decent...just find Shannon's take a bit punchier.

Aggree with you Jason: Patterson is good but Shannon does it for me. One of my all time faves

I think Bobby Shannon version is more soulful.

Another good song of Bobby Patterson from the same period is "Everything Good To You".In the same league than "I'm in love with you" on Jetstar.I think is only aviable on Lp.

And finally.....maybe to slow,but a killer for me,is "If He Hadn't Slipped Up And Got Caught" on Granite label.
