Jaibi 'You Got Me'. Well Saint Dave said it was and he invented the category.

Going through the master tapes for GWP Vol 2, I came across one that sounded slightly different after a while. It turned out that it was the exact same version as the GWP produced Kapp 45 but there was a female backing group joining in on the chorus. The first time it's featured it is hard to hear as it comes in on the brass section and those are similar frequencies (and noisy), the second time is much clearer and the record fades out with the girls in full flow. Not a drastically different version but one of great interest to a lot of fans of the record; Messrs cato and Hampsey spring to mind.

T.C.ind.

It would be nice if a vehicle were found to release this on.

One of my favourite records ever which I'm glad Kent anthologised on the Dave Godin series as all copies of the US 45 I've heard play with slightly annoying sibilance through one channel. I don't know if the French release plays any better.

Sorry i didn't make it clear. As a GWP production that we bought a few years ago, it will be the ender on the 2nd Vol of GWP CD out at the end of this month. It also contains some stunning dancers like Lilly Fields 'Changes', the Larry Banks & Jaibi anniversary 45 and the best version of 'Without Your Love' by Bobby Penn. There are also killer ballads and all sorts of GWP/Banks/Kerr related goodies.
