December 20, 200915 yr Of course mate. There's tons of styles of music and most genres have a few tunes that stand out. December 20, 200915 yr There are, in your view, better punk/pop/indie/rock/memory/Mum tunes than certain dancefloor favourite 'Northern' tracks? What do you mean by better? Surely they are too different for comparison? Chalk and cheese come to mind Barry. I wouldn't say examples from other genres are 'better' because for me it depends on my mood if i want to listen to prog rock rather than R&B or northern soul. Is Mozart's music better than that of Linda Jones? Impossible to compare surely?
December 20, 200915 yr Of course. Good music is good music whatever the genre........ Ian D Is it? Surely it's a matter of of personal taste. One persons classic is another person's piece of crap. It's all subjective. See thread on The Magnetics.
December 20, 200915 yr yes there are better tunes out there... But we would never agree on which ones they are.... I love this scene
