January 16, 201015 yr Author indeed a sad loss but we always got the memories and the music very true, still I feel its frightening how many great artists are currently leaving us, Wilie Mitchell, Teddy Pendergrass (at only 59) Harmon Bethea, Earl Gaines to name only just the very recent ones. Marc

January 19, 201015 yr wow, I am familiar with this HBR 45 but didn`t knew it was that scarce. Great Picture Dave, I bet you had a great tiem at the studio back then!! Marc marc, always knew deep down there had to be another cut of this track, now youve shown the way. remember john vincent playing this at wigan but at the time i thought the batteries in my cassette were shot as it sounded speeded up when i played it at home!. just to add irony, i bought a copy of the "slower" version off kieth williams about 9 years ago thinking it was the real deal. it was released on deluxe i think but i have seen other gaines releases on hbr and he was quite prolific on other labels....SO NOW I WILL BE LOOKING FOE EITHER 7" OR LP.....ANYONE SELLING?...on hbr (of course!) rob.h
