lot of controversy over weather its liked or not but the starting bid isnt too far away from what it realistically should achieve....thats if someone's got 4.5 grand to spend

Yep Nev, price dropped but never been my cup of tea at any price..

Just looked at the thread you've posted - started back in Nov 09 and last comment in March this year - so obviously a topic that generates interest.

Just interested to see whether we think CM stands much of chance at his new starting price.

And btw the Vonciel Myers on CM's auction, which I do rate, that seems a steep starter at $749.99 (JM's got one up for auction in the near as well - should be interesting) Credit Crunch??

if you look towards the bottom of the second page of the thread what nev posted up you will see i added cms original advert on e bay which was $6000 buy it now,but seems hes leaving it to auction now

Bit steep considering what he paid for it.........exactly $1, he bought 45,000 records for a buck apiece that were basically EMI's old stock, sadly whoever was responsible for their sales hadn't got a clue about rare soul and this was included in the pile, that's the reason for the green sticker on the label

Well posted Mike but that won't make anyone on here feel any better

And to think of all the people on here who moan ,that in general, sellers prices are too high on soulsource

Wish i could find 45,000 records for a dollar a piece ....i'd put my trowel down for good
