"EASTER - s/t"

It's a private pressing possibly from California, housed in a blank cover - very raw and very good stuff with a thick atmosphere. I've scoured the net thoroughly, asked around here and there, and still cannot come up with a shred of info.

Is this entirely 'unknown' or some secret squirrel kept on the down low?

Here are a few songs. The whole thing is solid, I think. I cannot post a label scan unfortunately. Any help and thoughts are appreciated!

Sounds like a recorded rehearsal, the bass is clipping, and the only thing in the left channel is a tiny guitar. Doesn't sound absolutely bad, despite all.

BTW, you can't post mp3 on the site, use the Refosoul feature (Add Refosoul clip) at the top right hand.

I think this has been discussed before although it could have possibly been on the rare soul forum or maybe old e-mail list before t'internet took off....

Sorry I cant help you but I must congratulate you on a fantastic new word UNGOOGLEABLE brilliant hatsoff2.gifbiggrin.gif

Sorry, can't help you with any info about this LP, but those are some very primitive recordings!

That "It's All Over" tune (number 04) as well as track 05 are superb. Just wish the recording was a bit better.

Is there any info at all on the labels? Address, BMI/ASCAP info, songwriters etc?

I've cleaned up the soundfiles a bit, put them in mono and given them more punch, will add them to refosoul in a minute.
