Having never had the pleasure of owning an original of this track I have always wondered which mix was the original and discussion about it usually leads to even more confusion as most people say they only know one version.

The first one I remember was the one where he says "Please Don't Let It Get Bad"

He's says 'please don't let it get worse' on both versions you've put up. It rhymes with Nurse.

I see what you mean though, one difference is he screams 'do something for me' on the first one, but speaks it on the second.

The first is the one i'm more familiar with as well, although i know the second and it's brilliant as well.

No idea which is the original version.

Ones from a record the other is off a Kent CD, they do sound very different though.

Ady C has about 20 different versions so he will know a bit more.

Hmmm, I suspected he actually said 'worse' on both after hearing the 2nd version, but for some reason I always thought the original version sounded like 'bad', would explain why people would say they have only heard the 'worse; version
