Picked up a copy this weekend of Soul Bible Chapter One - UK Probe LP SPB 1061

Never seen one before, has the Probe released singles but does include Jackie Lee, Darkest Days

Anybody know the value and if there is a chapter two

dont know if it has any value but you dont see it very much, there wasnt a volume 2

Great LP. I remember buying it as a kid, around 1972 ot 1973 I think.

That was probably the first time I heard 'Darkest Days' etc.

Thanks chaps, is a great LP, very diverse compilation, Happy with the £5 i paid for it.

great lp i used to own many moons ago.....i liked the cover so much i used the idea for a cd compilation,...but not the same tunes, you understand and ran a few copies off.....( ssssshhh!....slapped wrists ) anyway,....i dont do naughty things like that now!!

........BESIDES,....A CERTAIN MR. RIMMER ALSO CONFISCATED THE TITLE AND IDEA FOR HIS EXCELLENT BOOK......DRAT!,....WHY DIDNT I THINK OF THAT?!

B&S/Probe ran a competition for the tracklisting of Vol 2. I don't think it ever materialised. The suggestions were in an old B&S from about 1974 and had some great suggestions for the time, like "If I could only e sure", and Willie Hutch "Love Runs Out". I'll have to try to find the magazine.

The Tyrone Davis track is the original, pre-Dakar version of "Can I change my mind" - probably the only way it got a UK release
