Pat Thomas, first to my ears by Ady C at the 100 club one early morning and the B-side is a better track for me.

Monticellos version on Red Cap does it for me.

I used to haveThe Monticellos version on Red Cap(?). Great.

(Owing to a mix up, it ended up with my mate who inconveniently died before I could get it back. For obvious reasons, I didn't feel able to bring the matter up with the person who inherited it...:-( )

I have a record that samples the dusty version its a house thing by St Etiene , I use to work next door to creation records and the stuff they threw in the skip and the stuff I left in it as well, Oasis +++

I have to say of all versions I adore Justine Washington on Sue..

This version has a beautiful quality to it - soul meets laid back jazz - nice!

best version other than the baby washington OG is the Dontells, plus nobody ever mentions it for some reason

Thats called Nothing Can Stop Us and it's brilliant, though hardly a house thing!

Madeline Bell on UK Philips 45 is a great version, it uses the identical backing track to the Dusty Springfield one, hard to find as well.
