Posted February 2, 201114 yr Hello everyone, searching for this. Popsike says something about 50 USD but I saw one for sale recently for 150 GBP... Which one is more realistic? Thank you.... Edited February 2, 201114 yr by spinneaussplit
February 2, 201114 yr I sold a copy on here in 2010 for something like 40 to 60GBP. its one of those that could go up in price one day but I don't think it has yet. I saw a very expensive copy recently but thought it was way off the mark. you will get one if you are patient.
February 2, 201114 yr i think it's rarer than most people think comparing to other 45s in that range, i guess at mo, cause it got some dancefloor attention around the 100£ mark
February 2, 201114 yr ..I think that time is here now Dylan there was one on eBay 'buy it now' for $250. it was on there for ages - gone now... i would like one but for the £60 you mention - but seems to have dried up(?) - as in I've not seen one for a while and it is getting a few plays now (i've just talked myself out wanting it LOL)
February 2, 201114 yr Its rare now , cos eveyones starting to catch on. Got mine 2 years back for £75. Wouldnt sell it for less than £150. AND it will rise with exposure...
February 3, 201114 yr ..I think that time is here now Dylan there was one on eBay 'buy it now' for $250. it was on there for ages - gone now... i would like one but for the £60 you mention - but seems to have dried up(?) - as in I've not seen one for a while and it is getting a few plays now (i've just talked myself out wanting it LOL) somebody got mine just at the right time then. I had it a long time and price remained steady. I did always suspect it might go up one day looks like my suspicion was right. its the speed that it happens that sometime scatches me out. And where the demand suddenly comes from ? is somebody now DJ'ing this record on a regular basis I never heard it in a club.
February 3, 201114 yr somebody got mine just at the right time then. is somebody now DJ'ing this record on a regular basis I never heard it in a club. Karl Heard, Sean Haydon - i heard it from a local DJ down here too (can't remeber which dj though (non of the aforementioned)) must be others of course
February 3, 201114 yr I've had copies of this on and off over the years as well...fortunately never paid a lot for it...great sinister Soul sound! Their other more expensive (Funk) releases on the label are seen more than this one over here. The delta number puts the release to around April/May '68. Cool looking label!
February 3, 201114 yr Same here Mr. Flynn..Had this record a long time and nobody ever seemed that fussed on it..
February 3, 201114 yr I sold my copy to for £60 to that very nice Mr Cornock. Kinda wishing I hadn't now If anyone has a copy for sale of their 'Bold Soul Sister, Bold Soul Brother' please let me know Edited February 3, 201114 yr by Val (Chunky)
February 3, 201114 yr Which is by far the more difficult and miles better in my humble opinion 45 by them to locate, eh Val ? I had half a dozen Sweet Soul Lady 45s..... all sold for around 25/30 sheets.. Dave is right they seem to have all dried up now; can see it going the way of the other big Topaz 45s..
February 7, 201114 yr Which is by far the more difficult and miles better in my humble opinion 45 by them to locate, eh Val ? Indeed......ssshhhh!
February 8, 201114 yr Karl heard it off me. Been playing it on and off about 2 years . Its been about a while now. Edited February 8, 201114 yr by paul-s
