February 7, 201114 yr I think that both labels it came out on, sound really lo-fi No idea why but i agree with you, great record
February 8, 201114 yr I bought my copy blind from Worksop market sometime in 73/74 and it has always sounded muffeled and crackly to me as well I thought that I must have bought a bad copy but if others also sound bad...... Incedentally, the track is on side two of the Montclairs cd "Making Up For Lost Time" were it is much improved in terms of sound quality. Edited February 8, 201114 yr by Hunnymon
February 10, 201114 yr Yeah Vanessa was the second label i referred to! Couldn't remember off the top of me head! Thanks Bob Cheers Steve
February 10, 201114 yr If it's the track I'm thinking of I also had a 'lo-fi' copy on Paula years ago. However, they're not all like this as I have seen and more importantly heard a 'clean' copy.
February 10, 201114 yr I know what you mean , i first had it on Vanessa and had to really turn it up for more of a feel . Later found that Paula issues were around and finally tracked one down only to find yet again the sound quality wasn't too much better. Does anyone have this on demo and is it the same quality ? cheers Frank Norwich backstreet
