Need some help from you guys. I have a Motown CD someone did for me ages ago, listening to it in the car today and I realised Imissed a couple of tracks off the sleeve listing. Both 70's and male vocals.

The first may be called 'Where Are We Going' and the chorus goes....

"Tell me where are we going, what's the future showing, where are we heading...."

The second track may be titled 'I Don't wanna Lose You' and starts off with the line "I don't wanna hear no trouble talk" then the chorus goes "I don't wanna lose you, gonna give you respect and I want to protect our love"

Any ideas???

Marvin Gaye "Where are we going"

Marvin Gaye or GC Cameron version of "I'm gonna give you respect"?

Both Marvin's are previously unreleased, GC available on an album.

What a quick response!!! Thanks Karl, that's given me all the info I need.

The second one is Marvins version as it opens with the lyrics you mention. G.C Camerons uses different opening lyrics even though they are the same song.

No its not mate, it's a double album, also has Sean Oliver, Terry Ronald on, will dig it out when i get a chance!!

Thanks for that, 100% now they are both Marvin.

There is also a 12" version of where are we going and four other marvin tracks released around 2002 with a very bright african art looking label can't remember the name of the label off hand. Will check.

The label is Power of Funk & Soul, only way for Where Are We Going on vinyl.

Read a story from the Mizells about how they were waiting and waiting for Marvin he was hours late, strolled in smoking a joint and nailed the vocal in one take!
