Yellow came first I believe then the blue with stars, they have different flips too. It's Raining on the Yellow and Come Closer on Blue. Demo is the same as yellow.

The blue has the much better flip... i'd rate them both at £50 for a minter.

Pablo used to play "Come Closer" covered up, good record, prefer it to TMG.

Definately head for the Come Closer / That's My Girl issue - makes a great double sider, agree with Pikey around £40/£50. As an aside 'In My Apartment' often over looked too.

The flip to In My Apartment good as well, used to play both out now and then in the late 80's when the mood struck.

Come closer.....tuuuune, the far better side imo.

Dee Clark's is the best version to my ears...in fact I almost included it on a Charly LP/CDcompilation, but I went for 'That's My Girl' instead as I thought it would appeal to more folks...and it did it seems as that track got a lot of scene exposure for a year or two...not that I'm taking credit mind...blimey I'm sounding like Tony Rounce!?!

Actually while I have your attention (or anyone else's) I don't suppose you know anyone over there who owns a copy of the Harold Holt 45 on Ru-Jac? We need one for dubbing and I believe that most if not all known copies are located in your neck of the woods...

Oh and the Jackie Hill is actually called 'Won't You Come Closer', which is why it temporarily and originally flew under my radar...

Just a quick update - the Tiffany Michel and Jessica James 'versions' of CC are in fact the same recording.

My pal Mick Patrick reminded me of this, and also reminded me that Tiffany/Jessica are in fact Peggy Santiglia, who also recorded under several other names and, as herself, was the lead singer of the Angels of 'My Boyfriend's Back' fame...
