Was the the BRP record ever booted? I picked up a copy of this years ago and always thought it looked like a boot, record is as described by the Gasher.

I can remember this being spun at Blackpool Mecca. Copies of the Bobby Robinson release appeared before the record reached its full potential. I believe the B.R. copies that appeared at that time were boots.

Interestingly, I had a copy of this on Capitol Demo which was credited to the The Corletts and not the Carletts. Don't know if all the demos are this way, but have certainly seen two with the mis-spelling.

The bootleg (legal reissue?) was released on Bobby Robinson and pressed on styrene.
