Have these from a collection I bought a while back. All are DEMOS and just about MINT-. Unfortunately there's no original Grapevine sleeves with em so they'll come in generic white card sleeves. In my opinion The Tomangoes is the hardest Demo on the label to find. Much harder than Nabay.

Nabay isn't on a demo Dave, not a printed one anyway.

Sorry should have made that clear. Nabay seems to be the one that fetches the most money, but I rate the Tomangoes Demo as one of the hardest 45s to find on the label.

It was withdrawn, John Anderson said he wasn't happy with the sound quality, so they sold the pressed up demos and stock copies for pennies.

I got one of these some months back, and the quality did strike me as not being that good, do me till I win the pools and Buy a real one though..

Just played in through my Technics decks and Bose speakers. Plays a tad quieter than normal is all. Whacked it up a notch - sounded great. Probably first time this one has ever been played.

However, I also have this on "The Wigan Casino Story" CD and the recording is first rate - I thought it only existed on an acetate? If this correct then where did Goldmine get their soundfile from. I also remember the lookalike boot sounding like it was copied from the Grapevine copy? Anyone know if thsi is true ??

Dave you're thinking of something else, this was a legitimitely released 45 which made it into the shops, albeit only a few of them in Detroit.
