Posted January 21, 201213 yr Hi all, previously owned this and would like to again. Not seen it listed in 5 years and not in JM price guide so can anyone give me a rough guide price?? Thanks Ric Franks
January 21, 201213 yr this is the new jersey stang??? If so I would definitely like to get a copy, I collect stang / all platinum / vibration (if anyone has any other odd numbers contact me).
January 21, 201213 yr Author Yes blue issue Stang as I recall (25 yrs ago!). There is a utube clip but no label evident.
January 21, 201213 yr All I can say is I've been collecting stang for a while and have never ever seen this and I bought all sorts of stupid titles like buster benton 45s to get the #. Now you have even more competition for this (sorry).
January 21, 201213 yr I was just going to ask if you weren't mixing it up with Midsong #11082. THANK YOU!!! now you're not in competition with me. Still -- weird #s wanted, PM me.
January 21, 201213 yr Author Hi Boba, thanks for the quick reply. Feel a bit stupid now as have located a copy. I think its disco origins place it outside the rare-soul umbrella. Same as West End releases (Al McCall, Julius Brown) although played Modern Soul in the 80s is now out of vogue IMO.
January 21, 201213 yr Blimey Ric. There's a bit of difference between Doris Troy on Stang and Doris Troy on Midsong. I can imagine this thread giving some serious Stang/Turbo specialists heart failure.......... Ian D

Ian D I wouldn't be surprised actually, there are so many unknown numbers which I think probably do exist and that label is so ghetto.
January 21, 201213 yr I wouldn't be surprised actually, there are so many unknown numbers which I think probably do exist and that label is so ghetto. Yep, for sure. I have a listing from when Sanctuary controlled the catalogue and that threw up a few surprises. I've always loved Stang/Turbo releases. All New Jersey ghetto recordings and I think many of these releases have yet to find their audience. Universal took it over when they bought Sanctuary so I'm not optimistic about seeing any future deep catalogue releases. I'm still playing that All Platinum Girls release that Sanctuary did in the late 90's which is FANTASTIC! Ian D

Its credited as 'Unknown Artist' 'Every little thing will be fine' .............anyone. Blake
