Got a LEVON & HAWKS issue £120. Gonna go big I think, been played covered up at Soul Salvation and has gone down a storm. Best, Phil.

Was issued on UK Atlantic - the a side being The Stones I Throw. The group originally backed Ronnie Hawkins and later became The Band!! Northern Soul eh??!!!

Great tune but...£120... a bit steep in my opinion... UK, US and canadian (which is the original release) copies are all going for £20-£40 on eBay. It's a widely known tune, partly because of the Band / Bob Dylan / Ronnie Hawkins connection, but also because of it being an old mod club spin (as far as I've heard/read) from the 60s. It's also been included on Kent's fantastic Atlantic material "At The Club" CD compilation.
