Hi,

I just noticed that there two releases of "I don't know" of Lanier & co. My copy is the Waylo- 3018 one , also it was released with the number 102.

Is this an different/early version or something like that?

Thanks in advance

The UK 12" is a different mix. Compared this to the original 45 mix many years ago, and kept the 12". Not sure if the two 45s differ though.

According to Waylo's discography the number 102 is from1982/1981 :g:

Singles wise Lynn White - Slow & Easy was the first release on Waylo and that was 1984. If it was 81/82, that would make "I Don't Know" before their Larc stuff.

Uppss...sorry , I've seen that the first album of Billy Always on Waylo is a 1982 release and I've assumed that the singles are from the same period.

Ok , apparently the 102 release is from 1984 , but the uk pressings are from 1987.

The 102 mix is a much better mix(IMO) it doesnt have the high pitched syth at the beginning. Im sure the 102 mix is same as the 7inch mixon the UK 12!?

is it on the lp they did?

Yes it is.
