Still trying to identify this Guy spoon from Stafford as well...

Al Kent Orchestra - One Step Beyond Love.

Is it the backing to something I'm not getting?

Guy can't remember either!!

Both are the same recording (upload cock-up?)- Don't know what it is though.

Cheers

It's Jimmy Wonderful - Tonight on Blue Star. It is Arin Demain apparently. Both are from a recording of one of Keb sets. He played it twice in one set about 7 records apart and changed the cover up title in that time, I didn't double-check or listen :)

Not so sure that this Blue Star logo is related to the Arin Demain one. The address is a west coast one but the credits on this and the other Jimmy Wonderful record suggest Richmond, Virginia connections.

Wonder if Keb ever played the other side, "Ain't Nothin' Shakin'", which went pretty big for Ady at the 100 Club five or so years later.

Having said that the publishing credit is Hemisphere Music, the same as "Silent Treatment", so I'm completely wrong!

The Honey Bees on Backing as well. Realised it had a West Coast address when I read John Ridley's site but not seen a scan clear enough to see the credits.

Both the Arin Demain on Blue Star and Jimmy Wonderful on Blue Star are Hemisphere music?

They are indeed the same Blue Star label, chaps.

The Arin Demain also exists on the design with the 'points' (as with Jimmy Wonderful and indeed Lord Jim and the VIPS aka Arin Demain) and not just the plain one.

:hatsoff2:

A brief clip of one of Keb's spins, played as the Four Voices By Myself,

Nice one, I'm useless when only a brief clip like that.

Do you append to know the one Guy played as Al Kent Orchestra - One Step Beyond Love?

Both the Arin Demain on Blue Star and Jimmy Wonderful on Blue Star are Hemisphere music?

Yes. Wonder if it linked with the Hemisphere logo which Oscar Wright appeared on, another Richmond label. Strangely enough just like the Sebastian Williams on Sound of Soul also above.
