Not sure if this is the right section or video/podcast forum.

Anyway I got the Complete Ad-Libs on Blue Cat Recordings and there are a few tracks that are chatter in the studio prior to laying down the tracks....

They are interesting, well they are to me, so I thought I'd share one or two.

Here they are in the studio take one Johnny My Boy....

Theses are great, I've got similar outtakes and studio stuff with Roddie Joy and Evie Sands plus insts and different takes of well known songs, they're off the last lot of Red Bird / Blue Cat cd's that came out. Similarly I've also got a mountain of Phil Spector tapes but seriously does anyone really want to listen to over 20 takes of Then He Kissed Me?

Chalky there should also be an unissued Ad Libs version of You'll Always be In Style on there?

I have a Blue Cat CD of the AdLibs but not sure if its this one. Very nice Hugh Harris vocal with a lighter girl sound.

Its a shame it hasn't got any New York In The Dark on it or even Human.

Played it back to back to the record, could only find a little difference 40 secs in @ bar that it sounds like the same take differnt mix?

OO0ps!!!! no he sings different stuff at this point Love Her More Than She'll Ever Know --- Maybe I'm Foolish For Loving Her So.

It is mate, same as the acetate that's been played for years from what I can tell.
