Can You Record Live Stream Stuff

Sorry, not sure if this in right place. It's a techy question really so please feel free to move. So, can you record stuff that you are streaming live? Need a programme?

Any help appreciated.

also you can do this on audacity, just select stereo mix as your recording source & away you go.
