Was this the 45 pressed up in aid of a cancer charity? If so i hope your profit will be donated a similar way.

  • Presumably he'll do this when you return all of your 'promotion copy' / 'demo copy' 45s back to the record companies they came from in the first place?

Give us a break

I dont know much about the release of this 45 but if Pikey is of the opinion that it's not a boot then that's fine with me.

If it were a charity single then monies raised would have been predicated on it's initial sale and not on subsequent re-sales.

As some have pointed out it seems unfair to single out this one sale for criticism. I can't imagine there is anyone on here who hasn't sold a boot at some time or bought a 45 for peanuts off some unsuspecting seller and made a large profit.

Unless Deadwax you are intimately aware of the seller's views and actions when it comes to giving to charity then assuming he's lost his moral compass is a step too far.

Im locking this but feel free to raise the general subject in another forum.
